After a Bad Dream

Arabic

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ

Transliteration

A'udhu bikalimati-llahit-tammati min ghadabihi wa 'iqabihi wa sharri 'ibadihi wa min hamazatish-shayatini wa an yahdurun.

Translation

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger, His punishment, the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and their presence.

If you have a bad dream, spit lightly to your left three times, seek refuge in Allah, and turn to your other side. Do not tell anyone about the bad dream.
