Al-An'am (The Cattle)
Verse 154of 165
ثُمَّ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ وَتَفْصِيلًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴿١٥٤﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
Then We gave Moses the Scripture, making complete [Our favor] upon the one who did good and as a detailed explanation of all things and as guidance and mercy that perhaps in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord they would believe.

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Praising the Tawrah and the Qur'anAfter Allah described the Qur'an by saying, وَأَنَّ هَـذَا صِرَطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ(And verily, this is My straight path, so follow it...) He then praised the Tawrah and its Messenger, ثُمَّ ءاتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَـبَ(Then, We gave Musa the Book...) Allah often mentions the Qur'an and the Tawrah together.
