Al-Insan (The Human)
Verse 11of 31
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةًۭ وَسُرُورًۭا﴿١١﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness
Word-by-word meaning
فَوَقَىٰهُمُfawaqāhumuBut will protect them
ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah
شَرَّsharra(from the) evil
ذَٰلِكَdhālika(of) that
ٱلْيَوْمِl-yawmiDay
وَلَقَّىٰهُمْwalaqqāhumand will cause them to meet
نَضْرَةًۭnaḍratanradiance
وَسُرُورًۭاwasurūranand happiness
Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
The Recompense of the Disbelievers and the RighteousAllah informs of what he has waiting for those who disbelieve in Him from His creatures of chains, iron collars and Sa`ir. Sa`ir is the flame and fire of the Hell.
