Verse 2of 200
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ﴿٢﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence.

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Which was revealed in Al-MadinaSurah Al `Imran was revealed in Al-Madinah, as evident by the fact that the first eighty-three Ayat in it relate to the delegation from Najran that arrived in Al-Madinah on the ninth year of Hijrah (632 CE). We will elaborate on this subject when we explain the Ayah about the Mubahalah 3:61 in this Surah, Allah willing.
