Ash-Shuraa (The Consultation)

Verse 4of 53

لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ﴿٤

Translation (Sahih International)

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)

Which was revealed in Makkahبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِIn the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.The Revelation and Allah's MightWe have previously discussed the individual letters.كَذَلِكَ يُوحِى إِلَيْكَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكَ اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ(Likewise Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise sends revelation to you as to those before you.
