At-Tawbah (The Repentance)
Verse 15of 129
وَيُذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَيَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ﴿١٥﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
And remove the fury in the believers' hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.
Word-by-word meaning
وَيُذْهِبْwayudh'hibAnd remove
غَيْظَghayẓa(the) anger
قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗqulūbihim(of) their hearts
وَيَتُوبُwayatūbuAnd Allah accepts repentance
ٱللَّهُl-lahuAnd Allah accepts repentance

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Encouragement to fight the Disbelievers, and some Benefits of fighting ThemThese Ayat encourage, direct and recommend fighting against the idolators who break the terms of their covenants, those who tried to expel the Messenger from Makkah.
