Verse 12of 38

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثْوًۭى لَّهُمْ﴿١٢﴾

Translation (Sahih International)

Indeed, Allah will admit those who have believed and done righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow, but those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as grazing livestock eat, and the Fire will be a residence for them.

Word-by-word meaning

إِنَّinnaIndeed
ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah

ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
ءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieve
وَعَمِلُوا۟waʿamilūand do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deeds
جَنَّـٰتٍۢjannātin(to) Gardens
تَجْرِىtajrīflow
مِنminfrom
تَحْتِهَاtaḥtihāunderneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖl-anhāruthe rivers
وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhīnabut those who
كَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieve
يَتَمَتَّعُونَyatamattaʿūnathey enjoy
وَيَأْكُلُونَwayakulūnaand eat
كَمَاkamāas
تَأْكُلُtakulueat
ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُl-anʿāmuthe cattle
وَٱلنَّارُwal-nāruand the Fire
مَثْوًۭىmathwan(will be) an abode
لَّهُمْlahumfor them

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)

Admonition and Fire for the Disbelievers; Paradise for Those Who have TaqwaAllah says,أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ(Have they not traveled) meaning, those who associate partners with Allah and deny His Messenger .
