Taha (Ta-Ha)
Verse 4of 135
تَنزِيلًۭا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى﴿٤﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens,
Word-by-word meaning
تَنزِيلًۭاtanzīlanA revelation
مِّمَّنْmimmanfrom (He) Who
خَلَقَkhalaqacreated
ٱلْأَرْضَl-arḍathe earth
وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِwal-samāwātiand the heavens
ٱلْعُلَىl-ʿulā[the] high
Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Which was revealed at Makkahبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِIn the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.The Qur'an is a Reminder and a Revelation from AllahWe have already discussed the separated letters at the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah, so there is no need to repeat its discussion here.
