Taha (Ta-Ha)

Verse 7of 135

وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى﴿٧

Translation (Sahih International)

And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.

Word-by-word meaning

وَإِنwa-inAnd if

بِٱلْقَوْلِbil-qawlithe word
فَإِنَّهُۥfa-innahuthen indeed, He
يَعْلَمُyaʿlamuknows
ٱلسِّرَّl-sirathe secret

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)

Which was revealed at Makkahبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِIn the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.The Qur'an is a Reminder and a Revelation from AllahWe have already discussed the separated letters at the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah, so there is no need to repeat its discussion here.
