Verse 10of 109

دَعْوَىٰهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٌۭ ۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ أَنِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ﴿١٠﴾

Translation (Sahih International)

Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!"

Word-by-word meaning

دَعْوَىٰهُمْdaʿwāhumTheir prayer
فِيهَاfīhātherein
سُبْحَـٰنَكَsub'ḥānaka(will be), "Glory be to You
ٱللَّهُمَّl-lahumaO Allah
وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْwataḥiyyatuhumAnd their greeting
فِيهَاfīhātherein (will be)
سَلَـٰمٌۭ ۚsalāmunPeace
وَءَاخِرُwaākhiruAnd the last
دَعْوَىٰهُمْdaʿwāhum(of) their call
أَنِani(will be) [that]
ٱلْحَمْدُl-ḥamduAll the Praise be
لِلَّهِlillahito Allah
رَبِّrabbiLord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَl-ʿālamīna(of) the worlds

Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)

The Good Reward is for the People of Faith and Good DeedsIn these two Ayat, Allah promises the happy blessings for those who believed in Allah and His Messengers. And for those that have complied with what they were commanded to follow. The promise is that He will guide them because of their faith, or it may mean through their faith.
