Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty)
Verse 23of 30
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۖ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ﴿٢٣﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful."

أَنشَأَكُمْansha-akumproduced you
وَجَعَلَwajaʿalaand made

ٱلسَّمْعَl-samʿathe hearing

وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۖwal-afidataand the feelings
قَلِيلًۭاqalīlanLittle
مَّاmā(is) what
تَشْكُرُونَtashkurūnayou give thanks
Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
No One will help You and No One can grant Sustenance except for AllahAllah addresses the idolators who worship others besides Him, seeking help and sustenance from them. Allah rebukes them for what they believe, and He informs them that they will not attain that which they hope for.
