As-Sajdah (The Prostration)
Verse 23of 30
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ فَلَا تَكُن فِى مِرْيَةٍۢ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَٰهُ هُدًۭى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ﴿٢٣﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, so do not be in doubt over his meeting. And we made the Torah guidance for the Children of Israel.
Word-by-word meaning
وَلَقَدْwalaqadAnd certainly
ءَاتَيْنَاātaynāWe gave
مُوسَىmūsāMusa
ٱلْكِتَـٰبَl-kitābathe Scripture
فَلَاfalāso (do) not
تَكُنtakunbe
فِىfīin

وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُwajaʿalnāhuAnd We made it
هُدًۭىhudana guide
لِّبَنِىٓlibanīfor the Children of Israel
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَis'rāīlafor the Children of Israel
Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
The Book of Musa and the Leadership of the Children of IsraelAllah tells us that He gave the Book -- the Tawrah -- to His servant and Messenger Musa, peace be upon him.فَلاَ تَكُن فِى مِرْيَةٍ مِّن لِّقَآئِهِ(So, be not you in doubt of meeting him.
