Az-Zukhruf (The Ornaments of Gold)
Verse 26of 89
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِى بَرَآءٌۭ مِّمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ﴿٢٦﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, "Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship

وَإِذْwa-idhAnd when
قَالَqālaIbrahim Said
إِبْرَٰهِيمُib'rāhīmuIbrahim Said
لِأَبِيهِli-abīhito his father
وَقَوْمِهِۦٓwaqawmihiand his people

مِّمَّاmimmāfrom what
تَعْبُدُونَtaʿbudūnayou worship
Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Ibrahim's Declaration of Tawhid HereAllah tells us about His servant, Messenger and close Friend, the leader of the monotheists and the father of all subsequent Prophets, from whom Quraysh were descended and claimed to have taken their religion.
