Al-Qamar (The Moon)
Verse 8of 55
مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِ ۖ يَقُولُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌۭ﴿٨﴾
Translation (Sahih International)
Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day."

مُّهْطِعِينَmuh'ṭiʿīnaRacing ahead
إِلَىilātowards
ٱلدَّاعِ ۖl-dāʿithe caller
يَقُولُyaqūluWill say
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَl-kāfirūnathe disbelievers
هَـٰذَاhādhāThis
يَوْمٌyawmun(is) a Day
عَسِرٌۭʿasirundifficult
Commentary (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
The terrible End the Disbelievers will meet on the Day of ResurrectionAllah the Exalted says, `O Muhammad, turn away from these people who, when they witness a miracle, they deny it and say that this is continuous magic.' Turn away from them and wait until,يَوْمَ يَدْعُو الدَّاعِ إِلَى شَىْءٍ نُّكُرٍ(The Day that the caller will call (them) to a terrible thing.
